The process of making ghee involves the slow heating of butter over a low temperature, which removes water and milk solids. We carefully clarify our Spring Hill butter resulting in the finest concentration of healthy fats. The cooking of butter causes the impurities to caramelize, infusing this rich and nutty flavor with the remaining stable butter oil. Ghee is best for high heat cooking because it is fully saturated and will not oxidoze. When ghee is made with the finest pasture fed cultured butter and in harmony with nature an honest product is sure to enrich the body, mind and skillet. The Plain ghee shown here is pure, everyday, unadulterated made with Spring Hill butter and lots of love.
